Warm Mulling Spice Wine Cocktail Mix

This warm and savory frappé has delightful blend of spices and slight hints of cinnamon. This flavor is part of our all natural line and contains no artificial flavoring or dyes. Served warm, this flavor is best enjoyed in the fall and winter months, but it's available all year long and can be prepared as a frozen drink as well. This flavor tastes best when mixed with a dry red wine, such as merlot, and will provide you with a delicious mulled wine cocktail. You can even used spiced rum, cinnamon whiskey, or spiced apple cider instead of wine if that's more of your thing!  All bags make 8 - 10 servings.

Our Mulling Spice will warm your heart during the cool seasons and winter months. This spiced drink is served “warm” and is a perfect compliment to any gathering…especially during the holidays. Garnish with a fresh cinnamon stick for stirring, and enjoy!

Wine Mixing Instructions:

In a 2-quart Pitcher, mix:

  • 1 bottle of Port, Burgundy or Merlot Wine (750ml/24oz bottle)
  • Equal amounts of water (750ml/24oz bottle)
  • packet of Mulling Spice mix (10oz)

Mix until dissolved and then transfer to a Crock-pot and set temperature to a “low” setting.
Leave in crock pot for 30-60 minutes to warm (depending on the size of your Crock-pot), then serve and enjoy!
Variations include using apple cider, cranberry juice, hot tea or dry red wine.

Liquor Version Instructions:

  • 1 1/2 cups spiced rum or whiskey
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • One 10oz package Frappé mix

Mix until dissolved and then transfer to a Crock-pot and set temperature to a “low” setting.
Leave in crock pot for 30-60 minutes to warm (depending on the size of your Crock-pot), then serve and enjoy!
Garnish with a fresh cinnamon stick!
